In the fictional kingdom of Illyria, shipwrecked Viola mourns the supposed loss of her twin brother Sebastian. She disguises herself as a man in hopes of finding work with Duke Orsino. As his servant 'Cesario', Viola meets with Countess Olivia on the duke's behalf. As mistaken identities and merry mishaps ensue, Olivia's uncle Sir Toby Belch and his friends play a prank on the pompous steward Malvolio. In the end, two sets of lovers are joined in matrimony: Orsino and Viola, and Olivia and Sebastian. One of Shakespeare's most popular comedies, it sparkles with wit, humor and romance.
