At the height of the French Revolution, British aristocrat Sir Percy Blakeney woos and weds the beautiful French actress Marguerite St. Just. After arriving back in England, Percy learns of a friend’s execution via guillotine, and becomes the heroic Scarlet Pimpernel to save others from the same fate. Even Marguerite doesn’t realize that foppish Percy and the dashing Pimpernel are one and the same. The musical features such songs as “You Are My Home”, “When I Look at You” and “The Creation of Man”.
