Based on the beloved movie, its a delightful tribute to Old Hollywood. Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are silent film stars, working with Cosmo Brown and studio head R.F. Simpson as the talkies take over. Newcomer Kathy Selden dubs Linas grating voice to save The Dueling Cavalier. Don and Kathy fall in love, but Lina tries to derail Kathys career. Including the iconic Singin in the Rain dance sequence, as well as All I Do, Make Em Laugh, and Good Mornin, the stage musical brings us back to the Roaring 20s and Hollywood glamour.
