The stage adaptation of Anne Franks diary, left behind when her family was captured by the Nazis and sent to concentration camps. Her father Otto Frank was the only surviving family member, and went back to their hideout with Miep. As he reads the diary, the familys story comes to life, along with the Van Daans and their son Peter, and Mr. Dussel, and the two and a half years they spent in hiding from the invading Nazi regime. This play is produced the world over, and continues to shine a light on the atrocities committed during the Holocaust, as well as the ability of the human spirit to overcome. I still believe that people are really good at heart.
