About Us
Norcostco Dallas is seeking an experienced backstage theatrical technician- lighting, scenic, etc. Please only apply if you have professional tech theatre experience.
Duties
- Shipping & Receiving-maintain supplies, package orders, receive shipments
- Consult, prepare, receive, and maintain Tech Rental department equipment
- Process new orders from POs, phone, email, and e-commerce system through QuickBooks
- Money handling at store register
- Demonstrate product knowledge and provide accurate information to customers, assisting customers find and select products that meet their needs
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and work area
- Collaborate with team members to achieve overall store success
- Restocking orders to replenish department
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Strong Sales background
- Strong technical theatre experience (degree a plus)
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and provide exceptional customer service
- Windows and Microsoft based computing skills
- Checkout/cash management, QuickBooks experience a plus
- Ability to travel
- Can handle an occasionally fast paced environment and stay motivated when it is slower
Additional Important Information
- Job is in-store at Dallas warehouse
- Reliable transportation is a must
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on applicable experience)
- Expected hours: 40 per week
