  • Norcostco is a national theatrical services and retail company with markets in Costume Rental, Equipment Rental, Makeup Sales, Technical Sales, and Technical Installation
  • Norcostco is looking for a new member to join our team to be our Makeup/Retail Sales Specialist at our Minneapolis Branch

Responsibilities include:

Primary

  1. Process orders
    1. Take phone calls and email orders about makeup and retail related sales.
    2. Receiving, stocking, and inventory of product for resale.
      1. Keeping Makeup inventory organized and correct.
  2. Closing storefront daily, locking, logging, and depositing cash.
    1. Merchandising and re-stocking the show floor.
  3. Communicating with other branches about inventory, drop-shipments, and transfers.
  4. Maintaining and developing customer relationships with Pro Makeup artists, local theatres, and schools who hold accounts.
  5. Checkout customers purchasing on the show floor.
  6. Fulfill Makeup/Retail Orders
    1. Pulling, packing, and shipping makeup/retail orders
  7. Supervising show floor associates or holiday temps, delegating stocking, cleaning, and customer checkout tasks.
    1. Processing Purchase orders received from Schools and other organizations.

Secondary

  1. Provide support to ecommerce customers questions as needed.
  2. Provide social media support.

Skills required:

  1. Intermediate Makeup knowledge with application to theater, film, general makeup, and airbrush
  2. Basic technology skills including understanding of Microsoft products, web portals, and moderate typing speed
  3. Detail oriented and Problem Solver mindset
  4. Time Management
  5. Good interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbal
  6. Reliable Transportation

 

Additional Skills Desired

  1. Knowledge of use of QuickBooks Enterprise
  2. Knowledge of basic Retail operations and Retail POS
  3. Advance Knowledge in makeup

 

FT 40hrs/wk, Typical Shift Day M-F 9 to 530 . Pay will start between $17/hr. to $20/hr. Dependent on Qualifications FT Benefits include PTO, Sick time, 401K, Health Care Access, Discounts.
