The DMX to AMX converter accepts DMX512 protocol and converts the levels to AMX192 protocol which was the standard for many Strand Lighting products including the CD-80 series of dimmers. The DMX1AMXE has a single AMX192 output which can support up to 192 dimmers. The front panel DMX address switches allow the user to set the DMX512 starting address which will be used as the first dimmer level of the AMX192 output. Custom patches can be programmed in the factory to accommodate 6K and 12K dimmer modules if needed. The DMX512 input is fully opto-isolated and there is a non-isolated ‘thru’ output to allow for daisy chaining to other DMX512 devices.
Available connector types: 5 pin XLR as standard.
Custom options: 3 pin XLR, RJ-45 (ESTA or Color Kinetics pinout), or mounted in a JBOX enclosure.
