"Preparing the Surface" covers the very important first steps in painting scenery. This video reviews muslin and flats, flame treating muslin, priming the surface and transferring the drawing onto muslin with charcoal or marker.
"Painting Exteriors" discusses painting the most common exterior elements such as bricks, stone, wood, foliage and landscapes. You'll learn about mixing and applying highlights and shadow for dimension, discovering the tools that make these tasks easier, and giving painted scenery dimensions and perspective.
"Painting Interiors" includes those elements commonly found in interior sets such as wood grain, marble, and wallpaper. You'll learn about different application tools such as sea sponges, rags and even newspaper to add texture to your painted surface.
